Below are the most asked questions I receive when beginning work with a new client. If anything is unclear or you have additional question please contact me.
First, explain what your book is about with a brief synopsis. Let me know what ideas you may have already. Feel free to send links to examples of covers you like or that show the style you’re looking for. You may have a very specific idea for your cover, or just a general thought. I can work with either! Once I have all the information I need, I’ll develop a proof. You’ll receive as many revisions as needed until it’s perfect.
Once I’m ready to begin the design work, I’ll send you a PayPal invoice. You can pay a 50% deposit before I begin your cover design. The balance is due once the work is completed. I do offer payment plans for those who are on a budget.
While I do use stock photos, I make sure your cover is like no other. I spend a lot of time blending, manipulating, cutting, deconstructing and merging images together to give you a unique and one of a kind cover.
The time it takes to develop a concept and search for stock art may vary. The time between starting and finishing the first proof of concept is typically two-three business days.
I’m open to working with all genres.
That is preferred. I’ll need accurate measurements in order to design a print cover that meets your specific book size. I can still work on the front cover design without that information.
